Conan deduces that Yoko flashed her pin light in Yoshiteru’s face so he wouldn’t see her sliding the razor into the bathtub. Hikaru flipped the breaker back on, thus killing Yoshiteru, as planned by Yoko. Prior to the murder, Hikaru broke another vase and hid it out of fear of being fired. Yoko confesses that her friend Chaiki was married to Yoshiteru but committed suicide due to his infidelity. She would then marry him to exact her revenge.
