Mitsuki then meets Orochimaru who introduces himself as his parent and goes on a mission with him to recover his memories. Their enemy is instead revealed to be another "Mitsuki" who reveals that rather than children from Orochimaru, they are experiments. Wishing to form his own identity, Mitsuki abandons Orochimaru and goes to the Hidden Leaf Village, interested in Boruto.
