Sarada is hit by an explosive attack that drops her through a deep hole into a cave, where she is confronted by Buntan Kurosuki, who wields the sword Kiba. Sarada's absence leaves Boruto and Chojuro as the only two remaining to take on Shizuma and the other five. Suigetsu confronts Mitsuki and warns him not to let his origins be revealed by saving Boruto.
