Yume asks Yomogi to accompany her to visit her family's grave, paying respects for her sister for the first time after her death. On their way back, Yomogi confesses his love for Yume when Sizumu attacks them. Gauma stops him, and discovers that due to becoming a human, his resurrected body will not last for long and will soon die. Sizumu reveals that there is one Kaiju left inside his body and uses it to transform into a Kaiju himself.
