He also deduced Laios wanted to conquer the dungeon, but doubted Laios could handle owning a dungeon and its resources without harming society on the surface. The party were then attacked by a sea serpent but were saved by Shuro and his new party of women from his homeland in the East. Kabru volunteered his help to Shuro in finding Falin. Back in the present, despite two days having passed since killing the dragon, Laios and his friends remain trapped in the underground city where all the exits have mysteriously vanished, and are in danger of starving to death.
